Ho’oponopono And The Yellow Butterfly

The yellow butterfly is a magical cleaning tool that was introduced to me recently. It’s a powerful symbol that can quickly eradicate the symptoms of all manner of spiritual blues.

Whenever you read, hear, or experience something that disturbs your balance simply put a yellow butterfly upon it. The relief is fast and astounding. When using this cleaning tool, it’s essential NOT to attempt to spend time figuring out how, or why it works.

It’s enough to know that it works because it works. To my knowledge, neither Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona, nor Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, recommended its use. Yet somehow, here it is in the bag of ho’oponopono cleaning tools and it works exceptionally well.

The yellow butterfly is a cleaning tool. It’s NOT a healing tool. You don’t use it to help others, including friends, relatives or pets. You use it to clean up your emotional reactions to troublesome communications and world events.

It’s not the tool required to exorcise earthbound spirits, clean up land or buildings, or resolve deep long-term difficulties. Instead, it’s used as a ‘first aid’ measure when saying the word ‘love’ seems inappropriate, and the four phrases of the prayer too cumbersome for the management of simple emotions.

Maybe, someone seems to have posted an inappropriate comment on-line? Perhaps another says something with which you agree deeply at a spiritual level. Both are candidates for the yellow butterfly treatment.🦋

The beauty of this cleaning tool is that it may be used with those who don’t follow ho’oponopono. Just drop it as an emoji comment and you’ve left something enigmatic yet will clean on your emotions to the person who has posted.

The yellow butterfly isn’t simply a social-media tool. The butterfly is a symbol of hope and transformation. Yellow butterflies convey an additional message.

The colour yellow represents energy, optimism, and joy. The fact that you saw not just any butterfly, but a yellow butterfly, reveals much about what you’re suffering in life.

Butterflies pass through a special transformation called metamorphosis. Over a short period, they change from a caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly.

You may also be experiencing changes in your personal life. When you see a yellow butterfly, you could be at the beginning of something wonderful.

On the other hand, you could be at a crossroads. Your success has forced you to work hard, but now you feel trapped. The yellow butterfly is the precursor to positive changes when it appears.

In ho’oponopono, however, you may take charge and place the symbol upon situations that leave you feeling trapped and frustrated. It’s one of the few symbols that can be used to clean up a situation, rather than just your emotional reaction to it.

Never use any symbols (even ones used in ho’oponopono) to attempt to directly change the behaviour of another being. Others must always be approached humbly and with a spirit of seeking forgiveness. After doing so, you may however leave a yellow butterfly as a blessing (providing that in doing so you’re not placing anyone – including Divinity – under an obligation, or expectation, to change).

The yellow butterfly is one of those symbols that can come into play “off the field.” By this I mean that its origins are not to be found in the vibrations known to the human body, nor in the background layers of the subconscious, or superconscious minds. It’s not even to be found upon the rectangle of Divinity itself.

Instead, it arises from infinity (represented by all that’s beyond the square) and it is from that unimaginable void that its influence is born and will have its effects. You will never know what they will be until they’ve come and you experience them.
