Have you heard of Mabel Katz, a student of Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, and her unique approach to ho’oponopono? Instead of using the famous four phrases, she simply uses the word ‘Love’.
At first, I was sceptical about this approach, but after trying it out, I think it has real value.
When we misunderstand a toddler and it becomes upset, we tell them that they are loved to encourage them rather than add to their distress. The same principle can be applied to our negative emotions that stem from our subconscious inner child. Instead of rejecting them, we want to encourage their help and discourage the negativity.
Putting ‘love’ on it is a great way to achieve this. You can also put ‘love’ on other things like your car, your house, or even love for love’s sake. By expressing love, you are tapping into your Creative Divinity.
However, when you are dealing with deep-rooted problems that stem from past suffering, you may need to perform a Full Ho’oponopono. But after you’ve done that, you can use the word ‘love’ to clean on your emotions.
There is one thing to keep in mind. If you are using the word ‘love’ because you cannot bring yourself to say sorry, ask for forgiveness, or say thank you, then you need to work on cleaning those responses before using ‘love’ more generally.
Mabel Katz wrote a book called ‘The Easiest Way,’ which makes learning to love everyone and everything, including your subconscious inner child, and the burdens it carries for you, seem effortless. Give it a try and see how it transforms your life!
