Journey into the Heart of Reality: A Revelation Through Ho’oponopono

Life, as perceived by the ancient and traditional people, carried a unique filter, one that seemed to embrace the universe in an intimate dance of interconnectedness. Even today, the world’s longest surviving civilization, the Australian Aboriginals, hold tight to this perception, preserving an ancient wisdom echoing with profound spirituality.

My story narrates the transformational journey of an individual from a stringent materialistic mindset to a state of profound spiritual awakening, brought about through the practice of ho’oponopono – an ancient Hawaiian practice re-popularized by Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona and Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len.

While a former life was steeped in the drug-fuelled town I eschewed the allure of otherworldly experiences through psychedelics and the subsequent disillusionment, but there was a spark. This curiosity was stoked by the intriguing realm of Humanistic Psychology, offering a pathway to transcendental experiences without the need for external substances.

This journey meandered into the realm of ho’oponopono, where I found compelling parallels with altered states induced by drugs and hypnosis. The teachings of Dr. Hew Len painted a vibrant tapestry of the universe where everything was alive and part of Creative Divinity – the buildings, the landscapes, the man-made objects, and the natural world. This awakened a powerful connection to something far beyond the mundane self.

For the first time, trees ceased to be mere objects. They transformed into sentient beings, radiating an intelligence that whispered tales of life and existence. A bond was formed, a communication that transcended the spoken language and journeyed into the realm of intuitive connection. This communion with nature is innate to children, inherent to indigenous peoples, but often lost as we age, drowned by the noise of ‘intellectual superiority.’

Our scientific world, though profoundly progressive, is often blinded by its inability to measure and quantify certain aspects of life. It dismisses the existence of the unseen, alienating us from our roots in nature and our inherent animal instinct. But through the practice of ho’oponopono, the veil was lifted. A ‘ego death’ was experienced, dissolving the walls that separated me from the rest of the world. It was a liberating revelation, a merging into a way of life that defied explanation.

This transformation birthed a new understanding of spirituality. It was no longer about delving into the supernatural. Instead, it was about experiencing a profound connection with something far more significant than the individual self. It was about experiencing love, a deep love for the universe, for the sentient beings all around us, for plants, for music, and for life itself.

Such an experience, however profound, does not always find expression in words. Yet, the silence spoke volumes, revealing a deeper understanding of reality that defied conventional laws of physics. The discovery of the ‘spirit’ within all things and the interconnectedness through a shared Divine connection unveiled the essence of ho’oponopono.

This practice allows us to ‘clean’ our experiences, to ensure our inspiration stems from Creative Divinity and not the Karmic Data imprinted on our subconscious. It strips away the layers of ‘unlearning,’ bringing us closer to our authentic selves, and connecting us back to the consciousness that pervades all life.

Embark on this extraordinary journey, through the lens of ho’oponopono, and unlock the wonders of an unseen world teeming with life and intelligence. Come, join us in rediscovering the profound realization that we are not the only thinking beings in this expansive universe. This is the call to awakening; will you heed it?
