Divinity, Ho’oponopono, And The Law Of Attraction.

Lots of time is spent in these articles providing you with explanations of how and why ho’oponopono is a sound method of changing your life. Yet, even though I write them, I know that most miss the point. Let’s make this as simple as possible.

The purpose of ho’oponopono is to clean your way back to the clarity of your original nature. This nature is pure and is represented by white light. This is why the ancient Hawaiians used to say that our subconscious minds are like a basket. In the course of life, we pick up stones that fill it (memories). These, in turn make it heavy (with emotions such as fears, worry, anger, hatred, and attachments). The aim of ho’oponopono is to get us back to the more carefree nature we were born to enjoy by having Divinity remove the stones (emotional attachments, which are also known as karmic-debts) and replace each with rays of sunshine.

Ho means to have, to hold, to make, or to give. It’s a verb, a doing or movement word. Pono means right. When used as ponopono the meaning is the rightness of Divinity. Ho’oponopono therefore means restoring, having, holding, and giving that which is right.

It was said that Toltec shamans saw the enlightened as a cocoon of radiant white fibres. Less pure beings were coloured yellow, or amber. Many had ugly patches upon the surfaces of their cocoons. These were caused by attachments, particularly to children.

The Toltec vision seems fanciful until you understand the many dimensions that physicists believe must be in place to enable our three-dimensional view of life. A five, or six dimensional, individual increasingly resembles a cocoon of luminous fibres (and this only increases with the number of dimensions).

When Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len said ‘I see you as God sees you’, he was not talking metaphorically!

We only hold our three-dimensional world together via our inner-conversations (self-talk). This is a system which operates between our consciousness and subconscious minds. It’s known as the Soul and it contains all the karmic-data that is affecting us.

Our souls can initiate a choice to change this karmic-data. You do this by petitioning Divinity via your subconscious. You cannot petition Divinity directly because doing so (even performing a ho’oponopono) is an idea. It’s not up to any of us to advise Divinity about anything. We are Divinity’s idea. We are Divinity’s dream. Divinity sees us as a being of pure white light. As such, Divinity cannot respond to us directly (strictly our consciousness directly) because for It we are already complete.

Time doesn’t exist as we know it beyond the fourth dimension. Divinity’s abode is upon the apex of many more.

Your subconscious, however, can make the necessary translation. It will prepare itself for change and communicate what it’s done both directly to you, and also the superconscious (the abode of ancestors) who take it to Divinity for approval.

When approved, the heavy burden of karmic-debt is removed from you, and so the area of your luminous cocoon gets patched with brilliant white light. Others, connected to your time-line (a fourth through to sixth level dimension) are also patched in turn because the corresponding karmic-data they hold is also voided.

Joe Vitale said it very well when he stated ‘You’re not doing the cleaning to get something. You’re doing the cleaning to clean’.

Many confuse ho’oponopono with The Law of Attraction. Here’s how I understand the difference. Ho’oponopono is all about cleaning your cocoon of luminous fibres so that you’re being is totally the white light of Divinity. It’s multi-dimensional and based upon a longing for clarity.

The Law of Attraction on the other hand rests solely within the domain of three dimensions. When you say that you want health, or wealth, or a car or plane, you do so out of a fear that you can’t have these things, or a sense of pride at their acquisition. The fact remains, however, that they are karmic-objects to which you have already formed an attachment.

It’s like buying an expensive car when you live just fifty yards from your office because you’ve been allocated a place in the staff car-park, and other employees who travel further have similar vehicles.

Ho’oponopono concerns itself with knowing, and moving with Divine Creativity’s dreaming (through Intuition). The Law of Attraction is all about acquisition, healing others, and knowing what’s best for ourselves. Yet, were we ever to meet Divinity face-to-face, it would be obvious that we know absolutely nothing. This is why, ultimately, The Law of Attraction isn’t a good destination, even though it seems to provide us with short-term benefits (or benefits within one lifetime).
