The Magic of Erasers in Ho’oponopono: A Simple Tool for Transforming Your Life

Once upon a time, in the land of Ho’oponopono, Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len found a magical tool that has changed the lives of many – the humble eraser found on the end of a pencil. This simple yet powerful tool has the ability to help us overcome our problems, fears, and anything that upsets us.

Dr. Len often used everyday items as cleaning tools in his practice, and the eraser was one of his favorites. He believed that by tapping the eraser on things that cause us distress, we could bring peace and harmony to our lives.

So, how can you use the eraser in your own Ho’oponopono practice? Follow these easy steps:

  1. Grab a pencil with an eraser on the end (or a regular eraser).

  2. Make a list of names, places, or anything else that is associated with your problem.

  3. With the eraser, gently tap the names, places, or things that upset you.

  4. You can also tap other objects that cause you discomfort, such as your wallet or purse if you’re worried about money.

  5. As you tap, visualize the item or situation being restored to its original state and say, “I love you, I’m sorry, please forgive me, and thank you.” Alternatively, you may say: ‘Erase’, ‘CEEPORT’, or ‘Love’.

Remember, using an eraser isn’t a substitute for a full ho’oponopono process for complex situations.

Dr. Len often used this technique to clean the names of people attending his live training workshops. It’s a simple and effective way to bring a sense of calm to your life.

A word of caution: In some countries, like the United Kingdom, it may be difficult to find unsharpened pencils. To avoid accidentally hurting yourself, you can use a regular eraser instead of the eraser end of a pencil.

So, next time you’re feeling overwhelmed or upset, reach for your trusty eraser and give the magical world of Ho’oponopono a try. You might be surprised by the positive changes it can bring to your life.
